Kandrick Bangs While working under Frank Lloyd Wright, Kellogg kept notes. Artist Bev Doolittle and her husband, Jay, spent over two decades building Kellogg's Doolittle House in Joshua Tree due to the tough terrain. Despite its UFO-like appearance, the Doolittle House is warm and pleasant inside.
Rock cut-tomb architecture of Mada'in Salih in Saudi Arabia inspired designer Amey Kandalgaonkar to employ it in an architectural project. In the Saudi desert, the proposal became the House Inside a Rock.
