Cheap, wire clothes hangers
Do you agree that buying good clothes is better than buying cheap clothes that you'll only wear once? The way you store your clothes is the same way.
A collection of shot glasses
It's smart to keep a few shot cups in the kitchen. It's possible to need an Old Fashioned (or just a few tequila shots) at any time.
College textbooks
There's nothing wrong with saving a few favorite books from college, especially if you work in the same field you studied.
Clothes that don’t fit
You should go through your closet and dresser at least a few times a year to make a list of what you need and what you don't. This may seem like a no-brainer.
Mismatched plastic cups
It might be time to get your own glasses that aren't from fast food restaurants, unless you have kids around or are very bad at not falling over.
Old, unused bedding
Are you saving that extra-long twin sheet set in case you ever decide to buy a bed like the ones in dorms? Most likely, any old clothing you're not using right now is in your rotation.
Ratty, mismatched towels
Towels that match and are thick and fluffy are the epitome of "adulthood." There are times when a few loose beach towels are okay, but if you have a lot of old, worn-out towels and washcloths, it's time to get rid of them.
A bunch of novelty mugs in the kitchen
We understand. Being able to drink your coffee in a mug you bought on a trip in the early 2000s makes you feel a little romantic. You probably don't need more than one unique mug, though.
Old, unused electronics
Were you really going to use that old Dell laptop from college or curl up on the couch with your many "Friends" DVDs when you could just stream it?
