Cute Little Apple Hand Pies

2 large apples, peeled, cored, and diced 1/4 cup sugar 1 tsp cinnamon 1 tbsp lemon juice 1 tbsp flour 1 package pie crusts (store-bought or homemade) 1 egg (for egg wash) Extra sugar for sprinkling

Ingredients

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Step 1

Prepare Filling: In a bowl, mix diced apples, sugar, cinnamon, lemon juice, and flour.

Prepare Crusts: Roll out pie crusts and cut into small circles (about 4 inches in diameter).

Assemble Pies: Place a spoonful of apple mixture in the center of each circle. Fold the dough over and crimp the edges with a fork to seal.

Egg Wash: Beat the egg and brush over the tops of the pies. Sprinkle with extra sugar.
