Are You Sure About Your Skin Type?
Before choosing a cleanser, consider your skin type. Four main skin types are normal, oily, dry, and combo. Even with regular skin, your T-zone may feel greasy in the afternoon. Oily skin has oil across the whole face.
What Is Oily Skin?
Dermal sebaceous glands release sebum. Overactive sebaceous glands create oil, causing oily skin. Skin's sebum production is uncontrollable. But there are methods to handle it.

1. Salicylic Acid
Beta hydroxy acid salicylic acid eliminates skin sebum. Dead skin cells and excess oil are removed by removing the top layer of skin. Your skin may become particularly dry.
2. Benzoyl Peroxide
Benzoyl peroxide exfoliates. It prevents acne by removing extra sebum. Benzoyl peroxide causes redness and dryness.
3. Glycolic Acid
Cleansers, moisturisers, and toners contain glycolic acid, an AHA. It comes from sugarcane. It penetrates well and helps greasy skin.
4. Niacinamide
Niacinamide, a vitamin B3, helps skin. It regulates sebum production and acne on oily skin.
